ACC GROUPS
Groups at ACC
At ACC we believe that spiritual formation takes place in community and that community is better formed in circles (around a table) rather than rows. Through deep relationship and accountability with one another, we are able to experience transformation in our lives to become more like Jesus. Groups at ACC exist to create deeper relationship amongst congregants, foster a more profound sense of belonging, as well as provide a rich environment for spiritual growth. We offer several types of group experiences for you. Below are the types of Groups we have.
Community Groups
This is a discussion based group usually including 10-15 people and made up of both men and women. These groups generally meet weekly in the home of the leader although they could also meet at church or online via Zoom or another online platform. Activities of the group may include Bible reading, worship, group discussions, meals, and/ or community projects. Here are some of our Community Groups:
Bible Studies
These are discussion based groups. The group size can vary but generally ranges between 15-30 people focusing on studying Scripture, discussing its application, and growing in faith together. Groups may also choose to read and discuss a Christian living/ Christian practice book. These groups meet weekly on the church campus unless otherwise specified. Here are some of our Bible Study Groups:
Thursday Evening Women's Bible Study

Interest Based Groups
These groups vary in size and their focus is on shared hobbies or activities (e.g. exercise, basketball, learning a new language). These groups encourage connection through common interests while incorporating spiritual themes. Here are some of our Interest Based Groups:
Wednesday Night Men’s Basketball
OCC (Organized Chaos Collective)
Accountability Groups
These groups consist of 2-4 members that are either all male or all female. Groups are limited to this small and intimate size so members can foster deeper trust and personal sharing. The purpose of these groups is to foster spiritual growth, offer encouragement and support, and to provide mutual accountability around personal and spiritual integrity. These groups generally meet once a week.
